Ellen grew up in St. Louis City with her 8 brothers and sisters. She graduated from Bishop DuBourg High School in 1985. She then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Maryville University in St. Louis. Not long after that she became a mother and spend many years at home raising her four children, Timothy, Benjamin, Samuel, and Rose. Once all the kids were in school, Ellen went back to work full-time selling insurance and she never looked back. She has been selling insurance as a broker for Crawford-Butz and Associates since 2008. Late last year, she decided it was time to branch out on her own, and in January 2018 the Sippel Insurance Agency, LLC was formed. She is licensed to sell insurance in Missouri and Illinois and she enjoys helping people and explaining people the importance of various products. 

Over the past 10 years, Ellen has become very knowledgable in personal lines insurance and is now becoming more knowledgeable with commercial insurance.  She also offers life and health insurance. Ellen is part of a large networking group and tries to stay involved in the Monroe County Community.
